The junior camp focus is on getting outside and doing loads of orienteering with your mates with a focus on having fun with friends. Juniors become experienced on different maps in different locations and learning with others with other non-navigation activities thrown in.
We have been spending time crunching the numbers for the camp, including all accomodation and materials costs over the camp and our applications for funding has been successful, so have good news to share:
Camp costs
Fees for Junior Camp set at $530 per person. This has been made possible thanks to grants from Pub Charity and NZCT.
Registration date extended
The official cut-off date for Junior Camp applications was Sunday 31 September. We have room for more so will be are extending registrations until mid-October. If we reach our 100 person capacity, additional names will go onto a waiting list in the order they are received.
