19th April 2017 – Middle Earth Middle/Long Distance

WHAKAREWAREWA FOREST, ROTORUA

Providing an opportunity to get out of the Auckland region to experience some more of the North Island’s wonderful orienteering and to experience New Zealand’s tourism capital, the Middle Earth events provide quality orienteering amongst a social atmosphere.

This event will be a middle/long distance course which means there will be estimated 40-60 minute winning times.

TERRAIN

Pine plantations and beautiful open Redwoods Forest, interspersed with patches of native bush and thermal areas, in Rotorua’s famous Whakarewarewa Forest.

LOCATION

Bordering central Rotorua, 10 minutes drive maximum from Rotorua CBD.

Event parking will be signposted from Tarawera Road.
