The 2017 Oceania Orienteering Championships heralded a two week international orienteering extravaganza over Easter 2017 (April 14-17), held in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city and one of the worlds’ most liveable.
The week after Oceania, Auckland hosted the 9th World Masters Games, which included the World Masters Orienteering Championships (WMOC2017) for competitors aged 35 and over. Oceania 2017 will be excellent preparation for the WMOC2017!
Hosted by Auckland, North West, Counties Manukau and Bay of Plenty Orienteering Clubs.
Auckland is renowned for producing high quality orienteering events. Covering all disciplines (sprint, middle, long and relay) and including the Australia / New Zealand Challenge.
