Changes to the COVID-19 Alert Level
We will provide alternative start lists if Wellington or Manawatū move to Alert Level 2.
The alternative start lists will be structured around travel groups based on your home club, region, or where you are coming from immediately before Labour Weekend. Under this scenario we cannot adjust for people’s preferences nor accept liability where travel plans may be impacted.
In Alert Level 2, M/W21E will be all allocated to a time block of their own so the elite competition can occur as normal. This will enable the World Ranking Event status of the Long and Middle distance events to be maintained. Spectators and public who have not entered will not be able to attend the event.
If Wellington or Manawatū move to Alert Level 3, the event will have to be cancelled. You can find out more about our approach to alert levels in the programme.
